Mother Maddalena had great love for the Faith. Father Kleber, her biographer, wrote of her: She wished her contemplative community to become a spiritual dynamo for the preservation and the spread of the faith. One of her nuns stated: I have heard her exclaim: ‘Oh, how many souls are being lost in spite of the fact that our Blessed Savior shed His blood for them.’ Her grief could be seen in her face.
