-    Saint Nicholas has been associated with Christmas in many cultures.  Father William Faber reminds us:
“Bethlehem has never passed away. It lives a real life in the reality of the blessed Sacrament. Round the tabernacle, which is our abiding Bethlehem, goes on the same world of beautiful devotion which surrounded the newborn Babe.”
