Like manytruly active souls, St. Frances Cabrini spent much of her spare time in prayer and contemplation. One day, on the feast of the Sacred Heart, she remained in adoration twelve continuous hours, completely absorbed in prayer. She felt so magnetized by our Lord in the Eucharist that when a Sister asked her if she liked a particular arrangement of flowers, Frances replied, “I did not notice them. I saw only one Flower, Jesus, and no other.” - Father Manelli, Jesus, our Eucharistic Love, p. 66
