One of the nuns who lived with Mother Maddalena recalled:
All she did was for God, and she was always praying. She would come around and say, ‘Why you do this?’ When we answered that it was for God, she was pleased; she would smile and tell us how our Lord was pleased with small actions and what reward He would give us for fidelity in little things.
