The cornerstone of the monastery of Evansville, Indiana,  was laid on the feast of the Holy Name of Jesus in 1897. This was the last monastery founded by Mother Maddalena. She once said:
Oh, how beautiful it is to work only for Jesus and His Church. I am sure that we shall be well paid by Him.
