-  Father Miguel Pro learned of the death of his beloved mother, who died in Mexico on February 8, 1926 . Miguel had been sent to Spain for his priestly studies.  He told one of his confreres: “My mother is in heaven.  This morning I wanted to say Mass for the repose of her soul but something prevented me praying for her.  I am certain she is in heaven.”      (He was  later to be martyred in Mexico for the Faith)
