Mother Maddalena was very devoted to our Lord.  It was her custom daily to recite the chaplet of the Precious Blood, besides the ordinary rosary and the Franciscan Crown, and to make the Way of the Cross. One Sister said:  I used to like to watch her make the stations, for she made them very devoutly. The recollection of her movements impressed me. She very often shed tears while making the stations. When a Sister asked her for the reason of those tears, she passed the matter off with the expression that she was weeping for her sins.
