Feast of the Dedication of the Basilica of St. Francis in Assisi. This is also the day of death of Venerable Mary of Agreda, the author of The Mystical City of God. Mary joined the Poor Clares of the Immaculate Conception (Conceptionists) in Agreda. She apparently had the gift of bilocation, since between 1621 and 1631 a young woman dressed in blue appeared to the Texas and New Mexico native Americans and instructed them in the faith.
