Mother Maddalena recorded the first simple procession with the Blessed Sacrament in their improvised convent in Omaha, shortly after they had arrived there.   It was replete with joy in remembrance of the procession of the Holy Family as they wended their way through the court of the temple in Jerusalem.  
Reverend Father Anstaett came to say Mass, and then we had the procession with the Most Blessed Sacrament through the yard. Constance carried the censer, and Sisters Elizabeth and Agnes sang; after that we received the Benediction.                   (Kleber)
