Saint  Alphonsus Ligouri preached a series of conferences to  the Poor Clares of Nocera, Italy, near his Redemptorist convent in that city.  One wonders if what was published in his The True Spouse of Jesus Christ  was given first as sermons or conferences to the Poor Clares of Nocera. He writes:
“Every soul enamored of God is always certain to find and embrace Him with faith and charity in the Holy Eucharist.”
